Administrative supervision and investigation
- The council should execute the supervision for the administration of local bodies once a year and during the regular session, the council's committee should audit the bodies within 7 days and ask the relative committee to investigate them by means of the resolution at the general assembly(proposed by the joint signature of one third and more members registered. If required, the council may ask the submission of documentation, require the mayor or related officials to be present, attest as a witness or express their statement. Regarding the evidence, one who expresses falsely may be accused; if one who is asked to be present rejects with no reasonable excuse, the council may impose a fine under 5 millions won on the person. The Mayor or the related official may be present at the council's assembly to report the administration supervision, state one's opinion and answer the questions.

- ⇒ Levy and collect the rate, charge, share of expense, local tax or entrance fee not specified in the statutes
- ⇒ Install and operate a fund
- ⇒ Acquire and dispose of material properties
- ⇒ Install, manage and dispose of public facilities
- ⇒ Relinquish the obligation, burden and rights besides budget described in the statutes or ordinances
- ⇒ Otherwise matters granted for the council by means of the applicable statutes
